What would Anthropic stock be worth at listing?

Nobody knows — the reported IPO discussion is around $2 trillion, while a multiple-based bear reading of the same revenue base lands materially lower.

Palantir, forward 2026 revenue multiple

Comparison multiple for the bear case.

The reported target: press reporting puts the IPO discussion around $2 trillion, roughly double the $965 billion primary mark set in May 2026 and above the $1.05–1.15 trillion the secondary market has been clearing at. That number is a discussion, not a filed range: no price range exists until a public S-1 amendment carries one.

The bear math: apply the multiple that the highest-rated listed AI software comparables trade at — Palantir at roughly 53× forward revenue — to a $65 billion run-rate and you land near $3.4 trillion on run-rate, but on trailing recognised revenue, which is what a prospectus reports, the same multiple lands far below the $2 trillion figure. Which base you use decides the answer, and only the S-1 fixes the base.
